Biostimulatory Fillers in Las Vegas, NV
Biostimulatory Fillers
Stimulate collagen production while smoothing wrinkles, contouring and lifting the skin, and enhancing skin laxity.
At RejuvLV, we offer biostimulatory dermal fillers, Radiesse and Sculptra, which smooth wrinkles, contour and lift skin, and enhance skin laxity. Biostimulatory dermal fillers can help hold back and reverse the years by boosting your skin’s natural production, resulting in a more refreshed appearance. Radiesse contains the mineral calcium hydroxyapatite (the components of teeth and bones), and Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biodegradable artificial polymer — the same component in absorbable stitches.
Unlike HA fillers, which are placeholders for depleted collagen and fat, biostimulatory dermal fillers stimulate collagen production. After treatment with biostimulatory dermal fillers, there are two results: liquid is injected into the face, which results in immediate, short-term plumping, and a more long-term outcome, observed weeks after treatment, where the injection initiates the production of your collagen for longer-lasting fullness and lift.

Radiesse® (calcium hydroxyapatite)
Human bones naturally contain calcium hydroxylapatite, which is a mineral-like compound. The calcium hydroxylapatite we use is biosynthetic, which means no animals were harmed in the production of this material. By doing this, you reduce the likelihood of an allergic reaction. There is no need to test your skin beforehand. This dermal filler injection produces a natural result, does not migrate, and has rare side effects. Dentistry and reconstructive surgery were the first fields to use this dermal filler.
Sculptra® (polylactic acid)
The synthetic dermal filler polylactic acid is injected into your face, causing your body’s collagen production. Stimulator fillers are also referred to as dermal fillers. This non-toxic, biodegradable substance has been used as suture material for over 40 years. In contrast to other dermal fillers, this substance does not produce immediate results. Instead, it stimulates your body’s collagen production, so results appear gradually over a few months. It is likely that you will need about three monthly treatments to achieve the results you desire. With each treatment, there is re-stimulation of your collagen. After that, the full effects can take up to six weeks to appear. Dermal fillers of this type are semi-permanent, but they may require occasional touch-ups.
FAQ's
When will I see results?
As soon as the treatment is completed, results are visible. There will be swelling for about 3-7 days after the injection, depending on how much was injected, the area injected, and how your body reacts to the procedure. The product settles after injections, and you’ll enjoy your final results about 2-3 weeks later. Give yourself at least two hours. For residual bruising and swelling, wait at least three weeks before any event or vacation.
How long do results of Biostimulatory Fillers last?
Depending on the treatment and the individual, longevity varies. Injections into the body may cause some bodies to metabolize the product more quickly than others.
How many Biostimulatory Filler treatments will I need?
Fillers are a temporary solution; therefore, to maintain results, treatments must be administered on a recurring basis.
